How enterprise works

SC.04 How minutes work

A template or a blank page sets the minutes

A film made from a template is brushed up for your brand and its story, so it uses its own length. A film designed from scratch has every scene drawn for it alone, so it uses about 2.7 times its length. Whichever you choose, a director makes it.

  • Swatch

Story-led brand films for launches, features and news, from a template or from scratch.

  • Cameo

TikTok, Reels and Shorts: a film that feels told by a customer, not made by a brand.

SC.05 Credits

Extras use credits, never minutes

  • Music composed for your film

    16 credits a film

A score written to your story, instead of a track picked from the library.

  • A premium voice

    30 credits per 1,000 characters

About 76 credits for a one minute film. The standard voice uses none.

  • Chat edits beyond the free ones

    10 credits an edit

Your first 30 edits each month are free.

SC.06 Questions

What people ask about paying

What is a minute of film?

A minute of finished film, the length you publish. A film by From a template uses its own length. A film by From scratch, where every scene is drawn for your film alone, uses about 2.7 times its length.

Do a voice-over and music use minutes?

No. A voice-over and music add nothing to the minutes a film uses. Music composed for your film and a premium voice use credits instead.

What are credits for?

Extras whose cost does not follow the film's length: music composed for the film, a premium voice, and chat edits beyond the first 30 each month.

When are minutes counted?

When the film is finished, at the length it came out. The studio tells you what a film will use before it starts.

What happens when my minutes run out?

The studio tells you before it starts a film your minutes cannot cover. Minutes and credits refill at the start of each month, or a film pass pays for one film on its own.

Can I pay for just one film?

Yes. A film pass is $29 and pays for one film of any kind up to 1 min 30 s long, extras included, with no subscription.

Is there a free trial?

Not for now. Every new account gets 1,000 credits for extras. See the welcome gift
